Project:

Professional website for Corey McAuliffe

August — October 2025

From the client:

“Madeline has an uncanny ability to listen deeply and translate half-formed ideas into something far better than I could have articulated. She combines creativity and intuition in a way that makes her work aligned with my vision while elevating it beyond what I imagined.”

— Corey McAuliffe | Researcher, Author, & Curator

After completing the cover art for Corey McAuliffe’s self-published memoir, ‘23 Dates with My Dead Dad’, the next step in her branding journey was to create a website that bridged her professional expertise as a researcher, educator, and curator with her personal experience with chronic illness and spirituality.

Building this online space gave Corey the space to play with her own brand, which speaks to the magic of Living Liminally in a calm and curious manner and is evident in her brand colours and illustrative decals across the website. This tone also extended into her social media and newsletter posts, curating connection and meaningful story-sharing with her audience.

Another critical pillar of Corey’s branding plan was accessibility, being someone who has experience with chronic illness and academic achievements in Public Health. We established this through high-contrasting brand colours and legible font choices, as well as detailed image descriptions in the SEO building.
