Promotional campaign for Okanagan Young Voices Society (2025)

  • 3 short Reels for Instagram and Facebook to promote the date and time of the Christmas concert performance

  • 1 concert poster, formatted for both social media channels, event headers, as well as program and poster prints

The story:

Okanagan Young Voices Society (formerly Okanagan Children’s/Youth Choir) is a repeat client that I’ve had the privilege of working with for a number of years, including their rebranding project back in 2023 and a variety of posters for their various performances.

In winter of 2025, I was asked to design a poster for their Christmas Concert, themed “Treasures and Traditions.” A change in their venue selection meant they wanted to ensure a thorough audience turnout for this performance. To achieve this, I was hired to record one of their rehearsals — multitasking between 3 different levels of choirs — and create promotional videos that would encourage audiences to come to the concert.

It was a pleasure to weave the storytelling of these choirs and their two directors into a powerful reminder of the power of music and community. The resulting attention filled their new venue and the concert was a great success.

These promotional materials gathered over 5k views between Facebook and Instagram; over 300 interactions, and 28 new followers across both channels.
